Hosted by business owners and colleagues Kristel Valaydon (founder of KV Comms) and Karen Black (founder of HubFizz), who started their business journeys 10 years ago, they have shared beliefs and values of doing better business by building stronger communities within our teams, customers, communities and industries for the good of our planet.
About Kristel – Kristel has over 20 years’ experience in PR and Marketing and loves working with rebel and misfit business owners (the ones sitting in the naughty corner) who are trying to make positive change, their way, and create impact through their comms.
About Karen – Karen is a creative and strategic web designer who loves working with eco-conscious business owners to capture the essence of their business and bring it to life online, resulting in a beautiful and functional website they will be proud of and that gets results.
How Small Business Chat Started
When COVID lockdown hit in March 2020, Karen and Kristel were sharing tips and valuable insights on the best moves forward within their business and their comms. After an hour’s chat the realisation hit….’damn we should have recorded that!’
As we enter 2021 our view is the same – if this helps just one person – either with advice, inspiration, an idea or a connection then we’ll continue bringing together our community – sharing ideas and having discussions on how to do better business.
